Privacy policy

Effective: August 30, 2026. This policy describes what information ppmail.me ("the site," "we") handles and how. Using the site means you accept this policy.

What we collect (very little)

• Server logs. Like nearly every website, our server automatically records the IP address, user-agent string, referring page, and pages requested for each visit. We use these solely for security, abuse prevention, and aggregate traffic statistics. Logs are rotated and deleted on a routine schedule (typically within weeks), and are not linked to any identity.
• Email you send us. If you write to hello@ppmail.me, we keep the correspondence as long as needed to handle it. We do not run newsletters, and we never sell, rent, or share email addresses.
• Nothing else. No accounts, no sign-up forms, no trackers of our own, no fingerprinting. Our calculators run entirely in your browser — the numbers you type are never transmitted to us.

Advertising cookies (Google AdSense)

Pages may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its certified partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and personalize ads and to measure them. We do not control these cookies and do not receive personal data from them. Your choices:

• Opt out of personalized ads at Google Ads Settings.
• Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Legal bases & your rights (GDPR/UK GDPR)

For visitors in the EEA/UK: server logs are processed under legitimate interest (site security and operation); advertising cookies are used only per the consent mechanisms Google provides in your region. You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection — contact hello@ppmail.me. Because we hold almost nothing, most requests will end quickly and happily.

California (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not sell personal information. Third-party advertising cookies may constitute "sharing" under the CPRA; you can limit this via the Google opt-outs above and your browser's controls. California residents may exercise their rights by emailing us; we do not discriminate for doing so.

Children

The site is general-audience information and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. (Parents: the classrooms page is written for you, not for them.)

Security, retention, transfers

The site is served over HTTPS from servers in the United States; visiting from elsewhere means your requests are processed in the US. We retain the minimal data described above no longer than operationally needed. No method of transmission is 100% secure, and we make no absolute guarantee.

Do Not Track & changes

We serve the same minimal experience regardless of DNT signals, since we do not track. We may update this policy; the current version always lives at this URL with its effective date. Questions: hello@ppmail.me.
